Philosophy
Therapy is serious work. I don't think that means we have to be serious all the time while doing it.
I've always been interested in relationships—not only relationships between people, but the relationships we develop with ourselves, our histories, our communities, and the different parts of who we are.
As a Marriage & Family Therapist, I was trained to think systemically: to understand people in context rather than as collections of symptoms occurring in isolation.

You don't need to know exactly where therapy will lead before starting. Curiosity is enough.
